Today I present you with a positive quote from Ella Fitzgerald, “It isn’t where you came from. It’s where you’re going that counts.” Too often in life, people become preoccupied with their past instead of planning for their future. As an ASVAB tutor, I come across many people with a strong drive to succeed. I am impressed and inspired by their determination and desire to overcome the obstacles that life has presented them. Instead of being discouraged by low scores, students in my ASVAB prep course should focus on what will help to improve their ASVAB math and verbal scores. Do not dwell on the past. Do not focus on where you came from. Focus on where you are going. Determination is the great overcomer. Let your determination move you forward toward your goals
