Fact or Opinion
As an ASVAB tutor, I realize the importance of discussing the types of questions that can be found on the Paragraph Comprehension section of the ASVAB. In my ASVAB prep course and my study guide entitled, The ASVAB Tutor’s Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension study guide, I review the types of questions that can be found on the reading section of the test. An important skill in reading is being able to differentiate between fact and opinion. Fact is something true or real that can be backed up by evidence. Opinion is based on someone’s belief. Knowing fact and opinion might provide help in your ASVAB reading score but will not play a role in improving the ASVAB math score.
