The Word Knowledge section of the ASVAB chooses its words from a wide range of words. In my ASVAB prep course, I remind students to review the vocabulary. In the ASVAB Tutor’s Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension Study Guide, I present over 500 common ASVAB vocabulary words for review. I present the words in sentences that provide context clues to explain the meaning of the words. Providing help with ASVAB math is important, but it is essential not to overlook the importance of the vocabulary review. Do you know what the word “inept” means?
