What does the word “accost” mean?
The Word Knowledge section of the ASVAB is an important part of exam. I present 20 or 30 vocabulary words in each 2-hour class that I teach. I present a total of over 500 words in my ASVAB study guide entitled, The ASVAB Tutor’s Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension Study Guide. My book has been published on Amazon. One of the over 500 words on the test is the word “accost”. There is no Latin or Greek root word in the word “accost”. Either you know the word, or you don’t. Do you know what accost means?
