What does “prohibit” mean?
In working as an ASVAB tutor, I present 20-30 vocabulary words in each 2-hour class I teach. The word “prohibit” is one of the 511 words that I teach in my ASVAB class. The word “prohibit” is presented in 2 sentences with context clues in my book, The ASVAB Tutor’s Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension Study Guide. The sentences provide context clues. Another method I use to help with vocabulary instruction is the presentation of videos where my cat presents the words in context (thanks to an app). Do you know what “prohibit” means?
