If 5/6x = 30, what does x equal?

As an ASVAB tutor, I cover 15 different subtopics in Mathematics Knowledge.  Algebra is a very important part of this section of the ASVAB.  This problem involves algebra with fractions.  I devoted one of the subtopics to reviewing algebra with fractions.  Some people do not like algebra.  Some people do not like fractions.  When some of my students see a problem that combines algebra with fractions, they become overwhelmed.  I let them know that this example is not as difficult as it seems.  To solve for x, it is essential to get the x on one side of the equal sign and the numbers on the other side.  Do you know how to move a fraction from in front of a variable to the other side of the equal sign?  I will present the answer and explanation tomorrow.
