ASVAB Math Question

Here is the explanation for yesterday’s example which involves changing a fraction to a  decimal.

This is an important topic that I cover in my ASVAB prep course.  As an ASVAB tutor, I remind my students that working with fractions

decimals and percentages are an important part of preparing for the ASVAB.  Knowing how to convert between the three will help to improve

your ASVAB math score.

In order to change a  fraction to a  decimal, divide the denominator into the numerator.

To change 4/9 to a  decimal,  divide 9 into 4.00

The resulting answer is .44

How did you do?
