Ratio Example
In my ASVAB prep course, one of the topics I cover in Arithmetic Reasoning is the topic of ratios. Ratios are closely related to proportions. Some ratio problems are solved as proportions, and some are not. As an ASVAB tutor, I constantly remind my students of the importance of being strong with working on proportions. Knowing how to solve proportions and ratios can only help to improve your ASVAB math scores.
In this example, there is a 10:7 ratio of sheep to goats. The question lets you know there are 50 sheep. How would you figure out how many goats there are?
The explanation will be posted tomorrow.
