Today I am presenting an example of patterns and sequences that I present in my job as an ASVAB tutor. This is a topic that I make sure to present in my ASVAB prep course and have included in my book, The ASVAB Tutor’s Arithmetic Reasoning Study Guide. Some people are overwhelmed when they see fractions in a sequence problem. I remind my students that if numbers are going up in a pattern it is either addition or multiplication. If numbers are going down in a pattern it is either subtraction or division. Can you see the pattern in this example? The answer will be revealed tomorrow.
