Patterns and sequences are an important part of the ASVAB test. I included the review of patterns and sequences as one of the 15 subtopics that I cover in my book, The ASVAB Tutor’s Arithmetic Reasoning Study Guide. In my role as an ASVAB tutor, I meet many students who dread working on patterns and sequences. I find that when I break it down for them step by step, their anxiousness disappears. This example is an example of patterns with fractions. Seeing fractions in patterns in fractions intimidates some, but it is not as bad as it seems. Can you recognize the pattern and determine what comes next? I will present the answer and explanation tomorrow.
