As an ASVAB tutor, I explain to the students in my ASVAB prep course that knowing how to work with fractions is a critical part of doing well on the ASVAB. Fractions is one of the numerous topics that I teach in my review of the Arithmetic Reasoning section of the ASVAB.
From past experience, I noticed that learning fractions made a difference of 8-14 points on the ASVAB exam. Never underestimate the importance of knowing how to work with fractions on the ASVAB. Do you know how to multiply fractions? I will present the answer tomorrow.
