Arithmetic Reasoning Question on Percentages
What percent of 80 is 60?
As an ASVAB tutor, I remind my students of the importance of studying percentages for the Arithmetic Reasoning section of the ASVAB. Percentages is one of the 15 subtopics that I cover in my classes on Arithmetic Reasoning and in my book, The ASVAB Tutor’s Arithmetic Reasoning Study Guide. This problem can be solved as a proportion. Anyone who knows me will tell you how I am a big fan of proportions. Being able to set up and solve proportions plays a big role in succeeding on the ASVAB. Do you know how to set up and solve this problem? I will present the answer and explanation tomorrow?
