One of the students in my ASVAB prep course asked my how to solve this problem so I decided to include it in my blog.  Distance and rate problems pose a  challenge to many people.  This question asks about the speed of a    bird flying.  To have a    solid Arithmetic Reasoning score, it is important to be able to solve distance and rate problems. Knowing how to solve a  problem like this one would help to improve one’s ASVAB math score.  Anyone who tutors for the ASVAB would be sure to tell you that this concept is a  key component of ASVAB prep.  This problem might seem more difficult than it really is.  Any ideas on how to solve it?  I will post the solution and explanation tomorrow.
