In the many years I have worked as an ASVAB tutor, I have realized that many of my students need to review the topic of measurement. Measurement is one of the numerous topics that can appear on the Arithmetic Reasoning section of the ASVAB. I remind my students of the importance of knowing conversions in measurement. To prepare for the ASVAB, it is important to know the measurement conversions for length, weight, distance, and liquid measurement. I remind my students of the importance of reviewing metric measurement.
Today I present an Arithmetic Reasoning question on measurement.
It is important to know the conversions in metric measurement when preparing for the ASVAB.
The question is:
How many meters are there is 5.2 km?
- 52 meters
- 52 meters
- 520 meters
- 5200 meters
In order to answer this question, it is necessary to know how many meters are in a kilometer.
