Answer to Yesterday’s Question on Author’s Purpose
Yesterday I presented a question about author’s purpose. As an ASVAB tutor, I explain to my students that author’s purpose is a common type of question that can appear on the Paragraph Comprehension section of the ASVAB. Three common types of author’s purpose are: to inform, to entertain and to persuade. There are other examples of author’s purpose. The one example that is not a common type of author’s purpose is to contradict. Did you know the correct answer to this question?
