Answer to Yesterday’s Question on Measurement
Yesterday I presented a question on measurement. Measurement is a very important topic that appears on the ASVAB. As an ASVAB tutor, I realize measurement is a topic that is essential to include in my ASVAB prep course. Knowing all the conversions can help to improve your ASVAB score. Did you know how to solve yesterday’s problem on yards and inches? One yard is equal to 3 feet. There are 12 inches in each foot. Therefore, there are 36 inches in one yard. The question from yesterday asked how many inches are in 3 yards. Since there are 36 inches in one yard, multiply 36 by 3 to figure out how many inches there are in 3 yards.
The answer is 36 x 3 = 108 inches.
