Answer to Yesterday’s Paragraph Comprehension Question on Fact and Opinion
As an ASVAB tutor who teaches an ASVAB prep course, I see the importance of telling my students about the different types of questions that can appear on the ASVAB.
Being able to differentiate between fact and opinion is an important part of reading comprehension. Yesterday I presented a question asking to identify fact vs. opinion. The question asked about which was a fact about celebrities on the red carpet. Only one of the choices was a fact. The correct answer is D. Many of the dresses worn were created by famous fashion designers. I spend the majority of class time of providing ASVAB math help to my students, but I remind my students of the importance of reviewing reading comprehension.
