I make sure that the students I tutor for the ASVAB understand the meaning of author’s purpose. When an author writes about a factual topic like the Civil War, the purpose is to inform the reader. While it is important to remember key formulas and conversions to help improve your ASVAB math score, it is important to be aware of the different types of questions that can appear on the Paragraph Comprehension section of the ASVAB.
