Yesterday I presented a vocabulary word that could appear on the ASVAB. My cat, Mr. Cuddles appears in a video to explain the word “prohibit” in context. Mr. Cuddles said, “At the scene of the fire, we needed to prohibit people from returning into the burning building. We prevented them from going in to keep them safe.” Do you know what “prohibit” means? Prohibit means to prevent or forbid.
