Yesterday I presented a question about the root word -phobe or -phobia.

Do you know the meaning of -phobe or -phobia?  The Greek root word -phobe or -phobia

means fear or panic.  Many different words have the root word -phobe or -phobia.  Arachnophobe is a person who is afraid of spiders, while arachnophobia is the fear of spiders.

Agoraphobe is a person who is afraid of public places, while agoraphobia is the fear of public places.  Pyrophobe is a person who is afraid of fire, while pyrophobia is the fear of fire.  Claustrophobe is a person who is afraid of tight spaces, while claustrophobia is the fear of tight spaces.  Did you know the what -phobe and -phobia mean?
