Paragraph Comprehension
Yesterday I presented a question about which option would not improve your reading score on the Paragraph Comprehension section of the ASVAB.
The choices were:
Reading more books.
Listening to audiobooks.
Playing video games.
Improving your vocabulary.
The answer should be obvious. Playing video games will not help your reading score.
As an ASVAB tutor, I meet too many people that spend too much time playing video games. Video games are a distraction from the true focus that is needed to boost your ASVAB score. I remind my students to read more books, to listen to audio books, and to focus on learning new vocabulary words to further develop their skills in reading.
