Did you know how to answer yesterday’s ASVAB math problem, or do you need help with signed numbers? In my ASVAB prep course, I remind my students of the importance of knowing how to work with signed numbers. This example involved multiplication of signed numbers. When you multiply 2 negative numbers, the result is a positive number. As an ASVAB tutor, I realize that mastering signed numbers is very important. More people struggle with adding and subtracting signed numbers than with multiplying and dividing them.
