Meet the ASVAB Tutor: Julie A. Hyers

NY State Certified Teacher for: Math, Reading, Special Education, ESL, English.

Julie Hyers is the founder and owner of Bright Education Enterprises, Inc.  Julie has a Master’s degree in Education.  She has more than 25 years of experience in both the teaching and education professions.   Her background gives Julie a unique set of skills to help ASVAB students with their learning.

Julie is “The ASVAB Tutor” behind this site and is the author of 4 ASVAB Study Guides for the main sections of the ASVAB: Arithmetic Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge, Word Knowledge, and Paragraph Comprehension.

During Julie’s career she has always sought ways to improve her students mastery of Vocabulary, Reading and Math. Julie is known for “thinking outside the box” in her approach to reaching each and every student that she teaches.

In fact, she tailors her lessons, to key in on each student’s strength and weaknesses to maximize their learning potential.

When Julie found a unique set of students that aspired to become a part of the United States Military as a part of their careers, she realized they needed help.  These students needed tutoring for the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery), and Julie developed an entire curriculum to help them improve their scores.  With higher scores, her students are able to maximize their potential in the US Military branches and further their post-military careers as well.
