Yesterday I presented a question on ratios.  Ratios are one of the numerous topics I present in my ASVAB prep course.  In working as an ASVAB tutor for over a decade, I see the significance of knowing how to work with ratios.  Being able to work with proportions and ratios plays a critical role in helping to improve your ASVAB math score.

Were you able to figure out the equivalent ratio of 48:4?

48:4 can be reduced by dividing both numbers by 4.

The fully reduced ratio would be 12:1.

Did you know how to solve this problem?  If not, make sure you brush up on ratios!
