Sequence questions are a type of question that could appear on the Paragraph Comprehension section of the ASVAB.  In teaching my ASVAB prep course, I wrote a number of study guides to help improve my students’ ASVAB math, arithmetic, vocabulary and reading comprehension skills. One of the guides I wrote is entitled The ASVAB Tutor’s Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension Study Guide.  In this guide, I have included an explanation of the various types of reading comprehension questions that can be found on the ASVAB.  Sequence questions are one of the common types of questions.  In answering a sequence question, it is important to pay attention to the order of events in the passage.

Are you able to identify which of the questions posted is a sequence question?

Why did the dog catcher release the dog?

What breed was the dog?

What was the first thing the dog did after he was released?

How did the owner find his dog?

The answer will be posted tomorrow.
