In today’s post, I present a question about order of operations, also known as PEMDAS. PEMDAS stands for: parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction.
In my ASVAB prep course, I make sure to review the topic of order of operations since it is such a common topic that appears on the ASVAB. As an ASVAB tutor, I realize that ASVAB math help would be incomplete without presenting a lesson on PEMDAS. Do you know how to solve the example in today’s post?
