Yesterday I presented the question, what does the prefix “retro” mean? The word “retro” means backward. In teaching my ASVAB prep course, I remind my students not to overlook the review of prefixes, root words and suffixes to boost their ASVAB vocabulary scores. As an ASVAB tutor, I present over 500 common ASVAB vocabulary words in my ASVAB study guide for Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension that I published on Amazon. I also made sure to include charts of prefixes, root words, and suffixes in the book. I spend most of my time providing help on both math sections of the ASVAB in my ASVAB prep curse. But I do not lose sight of the importance of focusing on vocabulary. Make sure you review ASVAB vocabulary before you take the ASVAB.
