Mathematics Knowledge Question

Angles and slope is a topic I present in my ASVAB prep course in the Mathematics Knowledge section.  This is one of the topics I have included in my book entitled, The ASVAB Tutor’s Mathematics Knowledge Study Guide.  Knowing how to work with angles and slope will help your ASVAB math score in the area of Mathematics Knowledge.

Do you know how to figure out the y-intercept of a line when the line presented is:

y = -2x – 8?

Hint:  You do not need to do any arithmetic to figure out this answer.
