Sometimes in life, things do go according to plans. Plans do not always work out. If your plan does not work out, do not let if make you give up on your goal. Come up with a new plan and keep working on that goal. As an ASVAB tutor, I have come across many people who have told me the story of how their plans did not work out for them. I have met married couples who had the plan to enlist together. The plan did not always work out as they planned. In some cases, one spouse passed the exam while the other did not. In one case in particular, the husband passed the ASVAB and left for basic training while the wife was unable to pass the ASVAB. She was disappointed, but she did not let the setback hold her back. She called me and told me her story and decided to sign up for my ASVAB prep course. She needed help with her ASVAB math and vocabulary. Her motivation and determination saw her through. She passed. she enlisted, and she was reunited with her husband. So, remember, do not give up. Follow your dreams and never ever give up.
