As an ASVAB tutor, I have personally witnessed the power of a strong mind and positive attitude in the students in my class. Working to help improve ASVAB math and verbal scores are only part of the job of teaching an ASVAB prep course. I also seek to motivate my students to pursue their dreams. I tell them stories of many of my former students. I strive to give them hope in telling them about the hurdles many of my former students overcame. Instead of dwelling on the difficulties we face in life, we need to see beyond the challenge. We need to see the opportunities that lie in growth. Growth is never easy but it is a very important part of life.
