I was amazed with this quote from Books-A -Million. It reminded me of myself. As a kid, I was known as the smart kid. At times, I was bullied by the school bullies who would laugh at me for having a 99% average. I remember one of them signed my graduation autograph book with, “Roses are red, violets are blue, if you lose your 99.99% average, your mother will kill you.” I never let it stop me from studying hard. This quote was such a powerful one for me. I looked back at my childhood and recalled the girl with the books, the girl who studied, the girl who strived for academic success. I realized that the day had come where the girl with the books became the woman writing them. I felt so proud to have published 4 ASVAB study guides on Amazon for my ASVAB prep course. Over the years I spent as one of our nation’s ASVAB tutors, I realized the best way I could help prepare people for the ASVAB math and vocabulary sections would be to write my own books. After reading many different ASVAB study guides, I felt that something was missing from each of them. So, I thought why not write my own? And so I did.
