Today I am presenting a typical type of question that I would explain in my ASVAB prep course. As someone who tutors for the ASVAB, I realize the importance of focusing on math word problems to raise my students’ scores. This example involves solving a problem that includes addition of fractions. From my experience as an ASVAB tutor, I see that the ability to correctly solve fraction problems can help improve the math score on the ASVAB by 8 to 14 points.
